WHY HAVE A REBIRTHING RITUAL?

It is normal to grieve the birth that you had planned but didn’t happen; to feel sad if your baby’s first moments on this earth weren’t as calm and close as you had imagined. Rebirthing gives you a chance to replay this moment and heal.

It triggers newborn feeding reflexes, which can help a baby who is having difficulty latching. Babies having a rebirthing bath are known to do the ‘breast crawl’, and move themselves over to the breast and latch on.

WHAT DOES A REBIRTHING RITUAL INVOLVE?

Your Rebirthing Ritual will be crafted and customized however you want it to be! The goal is to create your ideal birth scene. You can have flowers, candles, your birth playlist, crystals, herbs, essential oils, and anyone you want involved. You can do the ritual in your bathtub or a birthing pool. I would assist you in setting up your bath and room. There are infinite options, and you are in control. We can discuss this further during planning.

Your ritual can include your partner, mother, sister, friend, and/or doula. Invite who you want to be at your dream birth. For your meditation, you can do it alone or with your partner.
